Sit, back and relax, my first stop Jamaica aka Jamrock. Jamaica is a one of the few places I love to visit, it is a place to go and leave all of your worries and responsibilities behind . Jamaica is home to the crystal clear beaches, mouth-watering foods, birthplace of rockin’ reggae, heart-warming people, and eye-opening travel destinations.
Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean , with a population of 2.7 million Jamaicans, who speak patois. Patois is an English-based creole language with West African influences. Some patois words you should know is “Wah gwaan” which means what’s up and “Irie”, which means everything is alright and then you’ll be considered ” Kris” which means ” fine” and you’ll be some-what of a Jamaican.
The most popular thing in Jamaica is the crystal clear and soft sandy beaches. When visiting the beach in Jamaica, you are guaranteed to have the sun beaming down on you and see the glistening water. The water is so clear you can see everything underneath you, with no problem, which is great for snorkeling and scuba diving to see all of the colorful coral reefs and fish. Talking about fish kind of makes me hungry.
Jamaica is well-known for their delicious food. Like their national dish ackee and salt fish, jamaican patties, fried fish, mouth-watering jerk chicken, and many more! People always come running back for more because their food is filled with spice and is always seasoned perfectly which gives you bursts of different flavors in your mouth, you will not experience.
Everyone in the world is supposed to know about the legendary Bob Marley. Everyone looked up to Bob Marley because he always had a positive message in his feel good music. Bob Marley was in a reggae band called The Wailers, Their music started a vibe that would energize the entire island of Jamaica and people throughout the world, and reggae music is still well known today. Reggae is still played widely throughout Jamaica it’s like it their national genre of music.
Jamaica is a place everyone should try and visit, if you don’t I promise you, you will regret it . .
